Baljit Singh Charun
Baljit Singh Charun Singh (born 22 September 1986) is a field hockey player from Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.〔(Baljit earning his stripes with strong displays ) – New Straits Times, 5 October 2004.〕〔(Hardworking Baljit picked for Sultan Azlan Shah Cup tournament ) – The Star, 7 March 2013.〕
Baljit joined TNB in 2004 and helped them to three overall titles in the MHL, in 2004, 2007 and 2009. He made his senior international debut at the 2007 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup.〔(Time ripe for Baljit to move on ) – sports247, 17 August 2012.〕
In 2008 Baljit played for Zehlendorfer Wespen in the German league with another Malaysian, Selvaraju Sandrakasi.〔(Baljit and Selvaraju to play in German hockey league ) – The Star, 28 July 2008.〕 The German Division Two club gave him an invitation again in 2009 and 2010 but he was unable to accept it because of commitments with the national team.〔(National defender Baljit gets another invitation to play in German League ) – 3 February 2010.〕
